I started to do this yesterday, but things got busy, so today's won't be quite as emotional...but I'll do it anyway.
It was bound to happen. I was hoping it wouldn't have been this week since I had reached 15 lbs, but when I got weighed in on Monday, I learned that I had put on 1.5 lbs. Yikes! And I was doing so well. Part of it was I'm sure due to the fact that I had eaten a yogurt & some fruit about an hour before I got weighed, which didn't help...but I'm pretty sure the major influence was the masses amount of alcohol I had on Saturday.
Thursday's Oreo fest didn't help I'm sure either.
Saturday was a crazy day and by Saturday night the only goal I had was to go out and drink. A lot. And lo and behold--I achieved it (if only weight loss was that easy!!) And Monday was obviously the result of that. Even Sunday's luncheon out wasn't that bad with a very portion controlled & healthy choice meal (though I did add to my points later that night).
So this week's goal is to take off the 1/5 lbs. If I get past that, even better. Yesterday I was a little discouraged plus I had been having a rough day aside from knowing that I had gained weight. The fact that I had to then track my weight on WW.com and see the line on the graph go up instead of down didn't help either.
But a couple things I'm doing to get rid of that 1.5...
- Trying to stay within my daily points as much as possible
- Writing down everything...last week I tended to leave out certain things...like alcohol
- Using the 3 month planner I borrowed from my leader to write down & get ideas from other members
- Keeping the smile on my face & moving forward! I've come this far!! A little setback is normal.
So it's Wednesday and I had a good point day yesterday. Tonight I've got a date (egad!) and am going out to dinner, so I will have to keep an eye on what I'm eating without looking like I'm keeping an eye on it. :)
I think I'll also do another Tool for Living this week to help boost my motivation and keep me moving towards my 10% by June 30th!!!
Until next time!
